We were blessed to keep the girls for 5 days in November so that their Momma and Daddy could get some things done that they had been putting off. The girls were excited to see the Christmas tree (and the gifts under it).
Love morning times with these two cuties
Ellie and DeDe had matching purple outfits on
Ready for Sunday School and Church
A quick picture in Papa's Office at church
We then drove to Branson with the girls and with Great Grandma Boore on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. Andy & Carman met us there. The girls were excited to see them as was Momma and Daddy very excited to see their girls.
The next day, Copeland and his momma and daddy joined us
Three of the most precious blessings to us
We had our big Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday evening and then Thanksgiving afternoon, we went to Silver Dollar City. Riding on the tram.....
I took this picture of our crew. Mom rented one of those motorized carts which worked great for her.
The weather had been so cold that week, but thankfully on Thanksgiving it got up to 50 and so was perfect weather for a "winter" atmosphere.
Even though it sure scares her, Laine always wants to ride the roller coaster. Carman is the only one little enough to ride with her.
Our sweet eldest granddaughter
Our onery cute middle granddaughter
And our handsome youngest grandson
Once the sun went down, it did get chilly, so we bundled up more
Ellie is riding this one with Laine....she's finally getting big enough to ride a few of the rides.
So much fun!
Watching Mom and Dad on a big kids ride
SDC is just beautiful at this time of year.....so decorated up!
Too far away but Andy, Carman and the girls
Rachel, Jonathan and Copeland
Arms full of love! Love how Google added snow to this one. We didn't get snow, but since I love snow, thought it was appropriate - ha!
With Great Grandma, right before we took the little ones home and let their parents have a little while longer to enjoy the park without kids.
Friday, we just relaxed, watched football, ate leftovers, etc.
Carman and I did take the girls to a little park nearby
Back at the lodge, Copeland checking things out
Sweet boy!
Great Grandma with each of her great grands
We used Jonathan's timer and got a picture of all of us
And then one of us and the kids
Saturday, we had to go home......I had picked up this "first Christmas" outfit for Copeland so had to get a picture
Right before heading home
It was a wonderful week and I'm so very thankful for the opportunity to spend it with family! We take turns with the in-laws of the kids so they will spend Christmas with the other side of the family but we will get together at some point and have our Christmas with them. Already looking forward to it.
Thank you Lord for family!!
