A Great Weekend in Conway

We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Conway as the family gathered for the wedding of Matt DeMott (our nephew) and Kristin Solberg.
Mom rode with Jeff & I to Conway on Friday. She joined Kaye for a bridal luncheon Friday at noon. Jeff & I met Rachel for lunch and then spent the afternoon at her house. She fixed a delicious roast dinner for us and Derek that evening! We really enjoyed watching the Olympics Opening Ceremonies. WOW, what a show!
Saturday morning, we joined other family members and friends at the Solberg home for a bountiful delicious breakfast. Bless Kristin's Mom (and her friends) for doing that for all of us!

Then for lunch, Saturday, Kaye invited us over to her home for another delicious meal (we sure didn't go hungry this weekend!)

Then Sunday morning, we returned "home" to Antioch Baptist Church for worship. It was wonderful to see many, many dear friends. We enjoyed a terrific service. We were also delighted to be present for the Baby Dedication. Kaye & Rob are keeping Lincoln for a week and wanted to have him dedicated along with several other babies.

After the services, we went to eat lunch together at Ruby Tuesday's (thanks to Mom!) and then Kaye & I helped host a shower for Steve Jensen/Kim Bonds (Paul & Glo's son). The remaining pictures were taken at the shower.

Mom, Jeff & I headed back to Rogers after the shower arriving home around 6:30 -- exhausted but so thankful for such a super weekend!
