For those of you who follow my blog postings, you will recall that during the Summer of 2011, also around the July 4th holiday, my Mom provided a family vacation for all of us in Branson. This year, she paid the rental fees on two of Kaye & Rob's lakehouses in Bella Vista. It was another wonderful time with family. THANKS, Mom/Grandma for doing this for us!
I will just add a few more pictures and a few comments. Mom, Jeff and I went a day early to get settled in. Andy, Carman, Laine and Ellie joined us that evening and spent the night. Papa couldn't wait to get Lainey-Bug in the lake (she loved it!)
Since the kids spent the night, we got to enjoy the girls first thing on the morning of July 4th. Dressed in their Red, White and Blue which were gifts from my sweet friend, Leigh Ryan:

(Nathan had to work and Tristan stayed with his other grandparents--also Shannan and family didn't come since she was so near her due date....and Alex did come early!! He was born on the 13th--wasn't due till the 29th--congrats to the McEuen family)!!
Rachel & Jonathan, along with Jonathan's parents, Dennis and Brenda and sister, Jennifer and Carman's sister, Courtney and Coleman also joined us later in the day.

That last evening, several took a very nice boat ride. A little storm had come up that afternoon cooling the temps down wonderfully.
This is a beautiful boat that Rob and Keith had bought (his business partner and part-owner of the lakehouse). Recently, they discovered that some squirrels had gotten under the cover and chewed up the upholstery. So sad and aggravating!!
