MERRY CHRISTMAS

We pray that this has been a blessed year for you and your family. It definitely has been for Jeff & I. There have been many ups as well as some downs, but God has been faithful through it all

and we give Him all praise! Our greatest blessing has been becoming grandparents.
Laine Virginia Swart was born to Andy & Carman on April 26th. She has been such a joy and delight to us. The picture below of her with Santa is precious to us.

We are really looking forward to having all the kids with us for Christmas weekend this year. In fact, my sisters and their children and grandchildren as well as Jeff & I and our children and granddaughter will all be at Mom's on Christmas Day. That's a rare thing for our family but we are very excited to be together.

Our First Baptist Church family has experienced God’s abundant blessings this year with many new families joining us; souls saved and attendance doubling. We have had some exciting days!
But we have also cried together as we have said goodbye to some precious loved ones and as others have dealt with health issues; lack of jobs, financial struggles, family problems, etc.
God has been faithful through it all and always will be in the days ahead. We will continue to trust Him, who holds all our tomorrows and loves us with an everlasting love.
We look forward to serving together with our FBC family in 2011!
